My name is Stacy and I am a creative, empathetic, sold-out-for-my-Savior, often crazy woman. I am most definitely a middle-aged woman – and mostly happy about that (aside from the body that seems to be running on its own agenda and not the one I would like it to be on!). I was born in Texas, but I have lived most of my life in the desert southwest of Arizona. Married for almost 3 decades to my soul mate (I refer to him as The Rocket Scientist). I am the Mom to one son, PJ, who now dances with his Savior in heaven after an 18 month battle with cancer that ended in 2017. He was the light of my life and he left behind an even bigger light for our lives - our grandson! Just call us Gigi and Pops! We are extra blessed to have our daughter in-love as well as a bonus son in her new hubby. Joy and grief walking hand-in-hand, and we are blessed because and in spite.
The Creative Table Podcast & Blog has been years in the making as God and I wrestled with what He was asking of me. It finally came to fruition (after me laboring over what I thought had to be perfect…but that’s another story for another time!) in August of 2020 - of course it would take a pandemic and quarantine life to push publish! My heart for The Creative Table is that everyone would learn to see themselves as ‘creative’. Too often I hear people say, “Oh, I’m not creative at all.” That is simply not true. While some of us may have that artistic bent of creativeness, we are ALL creative because we were made by THE MOST CREATIVE ONE AROUND – God!
All of those words to say – I hope that you will join me every week or every other week as we enter into conversations on the podcast about how we have each been made creative and what that might look like in your life. Additionally, I will be posting various blog posts where I often dive deeper into the podcast itself, I actually put the podcast transcript up (for those I do solo), or where I take a look at some of the other things in my world that drive me day-to-day!
